Samarium-cobalt (SmCo) magnets offer exceptional thermal stability and corrosion resistance, maintaining performance at temperatures exceeding 300°C. They are the preferred choice for aerospace, defense, and high-reliability industrial applications where NdFeB would demagnetize. SmCo magnets contain approximately 35% samarium by weight.
